About this fabric

Part of the Kansa Stripes collection by Jane Churchill, this fabric is 100% cotton and is supplied at approximately 138cm wide with a vertical repeat of 1cm and a horizontal repeat of 23cm. The swatch shows closely spaced pinstripes in indigo, navy and muted red against a soft ivory background, creating a cool, disciplined stripe with subtle warmth running through it. The woven surface reads smooth and tidy rather than heavy, so it feels fresh and structured in the hand. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM, it is a practical decorative fabric for interiors that want pattern without bulk.

How to use it

Use this stripe on a small armchair, bench cushion or Roman blind to bring sharper lines into a room. The indigo ground keeps it smart and grounded, while the lighter background stops it feeling too dark.

A crisp pinstripe that works neatly on tailored upholstery or clean-lined curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
