About this fabric

This Kingswood fabric by Jane Churchill is composed of 39% cotton, 34% linen and 27% acrylic, with an approximate width of 140cm and a vertical repeat of 39cm by 35cm horizontally. The woven ground reads as a light, chalky blue, while the ochre centres and navy corner details sharpen the pattern and stop it from feeling too delicate. Small terracotta and teal notes add interest within each diamond, giving the design a slightly folk-inspired character. The cloth appears to sit in a versatile mid-weight range, suited to both upholstery and drapery depending on the application, and it is finished with care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code Z.

How to use it

Use this colourway to brighten a north-facing room, where the pale blue ground will stay cool and airy. It pairs neatly with painted woods, oatmeal linens and darker navy accents for a tailored look.

Works well on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains where the crisp motif can show.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
