About this fabric

Woven in a 39% Cotton, 34% Linen, 27% Acrylic mix, this fabric has the natural-looking handle and slightly textured finish you would expect from a cotton-linen blend, with enough acrylic content to help the surface keep its shape. The pattern repeats in a regular diamond lattice, with each unit framed by fine border lines and punctuated by red floral-like bursts and teal star shapes. The colourway is distinctly warm and slightly earthy: the red sits closer to terracotta and plum than bright scarlet, while the teal adds a fresh, cool contrast against the light ground. At approximately 140cm wide with a V 39cm / H 35cm repeat, it is well suited to projects where the geometry can be allowed to run clearly across the fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an occasional chair, headboard or cushion where the red-and-teal contrast can add character against pale plaster, stone or wood. It also works neatly with deep green, walnut and soft cream upholstery for a collected, layered look.

Pair with warm wood and plain linens to let the jewel-toned motif stand out.
