Talla Check Red/Navy

Linhope FabricJ874F-04

Talla Check Red/Navy is a neat, tightly set check with a lively red ground and slim navy cross-lines, softened by pale neutral threads. The effect is crisp and graphic, with a classic country feel rather than a bulky tartan look.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Fabric has a width of approximately 135cm and a repeat of around V 7cm / H 8cm, giving the check a regular, orderly rhythm across the cloth. The red is clear and saturated, while the navy lines add definition and stop the pattern from reading flat. Narrow pale stripes break up the colour blocks and give the surface a lighter, almost picnic-cloth freshness. With no performance features noted and a care code of C 8 + T 3, it reads as a decorative cotton with a straightforward, easygoing character. The overall impression is bright, tidy and versatile rather than soft or muted.

How to use it

Use it to introduce a lively accent on a loose chair, bench seat or Roman blind, where the small-scale check can be appreciated up close. The red and navy palette sits well with painted timber, simple stripes and relaxed country interiors.

A crisp small check that brings a fresh, country-inspired edge to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
