About this fabric

This Kingswood fabric by Jane Churchill is composed of 90% cotton and 10% viscose, with a width of approximately 140cm and a repeat of V 63cm / H 70cm approx. The swatch shows a softly weathered light ground that keeps the large floral design from feeling heavy, while blush pink blooms, leaf green foliage and small mustard-yellow accents add warmth and movement. The print has a hand-worked, slightly brushed look that gives the petals and leaves a relaxed, painterly edge rather than a crisp graphic finish. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM, it is a practical decorative textile with enough body for either upholstery or drapery use.

How to use it

Pair this colourway with pale oak, linen white or muted sage to echo the soft green leaf tones in the pattern. It works well in a bedroom, sitting room or conservatory where the pink and yellow accents can lift a neutral scheme without overpowering it.

Use with calm neutrals or painted woodwork to let the painterly pinks and greens lead the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
