About this fabric

This Kansa Stripes fabric by Jane Churchill is composed of 75% cotton, 21% polyester and 4% acrylic, with an approximate width of 144cm and a repeat of V 6cm / H 36cm. The stripe layout alternates slender bands with stronger teal and green elements, while the cream ground lightens the overall effect and gives the design a clean, airy rhythm. The visible weave adds subtle texture and a slightly slubby character, which suits the pattern’s smart but unfussy feel. With care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM, it is a practical decorative textile with enough body for either upholstery or drapery applications.

How to use it

Use it to bring a fresh, tailored note to an occasional chair, bench or Roman blind, where the teal and green stripes can read clearly. It works especially well with pale woods, chalky paint colours and simple cream upholstery that lets the pattern do the talking.

Fresh teal and leaf-green stripes give a crisp, tailored look for chairs or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
