Baltic Oyster is a quietly luminous cream plain with a soft, filtered look across the folds. The surface reads smooth and refined, with a gentle warmth that keeps the shade from feeling stark.

About this fabric

Baltic Oyster from Ashley Wilde’s Atlantic Collection is a 100% polyester fabric made for drapes only, with a generous 300cm width and a light 81gsm cloth construction. In this image, the colour sits in a mellow oyster cream with a faint warm undertone, so the folds feel soft and airy rather than bright white. The plain style and fine weave give it a clean, understated finish that lets the drape and light movement take centre stage. With no rub test noted and a lightweight 243g per linear metre, it is best chosen for curtains and other elegant window treatments rather than upholstery.

How to use it

Use Baltic Oyster for floor-skimming curtains where you want a pale, restful backdrop with a subtle creamy depth. It pairs especially well with pale oak, linen textures, and muted stone tones.

A calm oyster cream that softens a room and works beautifully on full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
