About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, Claude Stripe Charcoal has a dry, natural handle that suits a considered interior. The stripe runs vertically with an approximate 4cm horizontal repeat, giving the design a measured rhythm rather than a bold bar effect. In this colourway the darker lines read as softened charcoal and warm taupe, while the background stays calm and light, so the contrast feels refined rather than harsh. The fabric’s 146cm approximate width makes it practical for a range of interior projects, and the clean stripe keeps the look orderly and easy to coordinate.

How to use it

Use it for smart blinds, dining chairs or a tailored headboard where the soft charcoal stripe can add structure without heaviness. It pairs especially well with oak, aged brass and stone-toned linens.

A restrained stripe that brings quiet tailoring and works well in classic schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
