Brooke Stripe Yellow reads as a crisp, finely pinstriped cloth in a soft ochre yellow on a pale linen ground. The narrow vertical lines give it a tidy, tailored look with a gentle warmth.

About this fabric

This colourway combines slender yellow and neutral-toned stripes to create a light, airy surface that feels brighter than beige but softer than a strong primary yellow. The 49% cotton and 51% linen composition gives the fabric a naturally textured, slightly dry handle that suits the neat striped character shown here. With an approximate 1cm horizontal repeat and 137cm width, the pattern remains tightly controlled and easy to place across upholstery or curtain work. The visible effect is understated and refined, with the yellow reading as sunlit ochre rather than sharp lemon. Care code Q 8 9 T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use it on a small armchair, bench cushion or tailored blind where the narrow stripe can add detail without dominating. Its warm yellow tone pairs well with painted wood, oat linens and natural timber for a fresh country look.

A warm, easy stripe that brings a sunny lift without feeling loud.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
