Roussillon Wallpaper Blue

Ashdown Wallpaper Wallpaper07971-06

Roussillon Wallpaper Blue is a delicate botanical trail drawn in muted blue-grey across a softly warm cream ground. The fine branching stems, small leaves and hanging flower clusters create an airy, quietly decorative surface.

About this fabric

The warm cream background gives this colourway a gentle, lightly aged feel, while the blue-grey drawing remains cool, softened and distinctly more nuanced than a saturated blue. Slender vines cross the design in open, sweeping trails, punctuated by small leaves and repeated pendant clusters. The pattern repeat is approximately 38cm vertically by 68.5cm horizontally, giving the trailing branches room to breathe across the wall. Made from 100% paper, this is a wallpaper specification rather than a textile covering.

How to use it

Use the blue-grey botanical against chalky cream, pale stone or soft blue furnishings, where its low-contrast pattern can add movement without overpowering the room. It would suit a bedroom, dressing room or calm country-style study particularly well.

Use this softly cool blue-grey botanical on its warm cream ground to bring gentle pattern to bedrooms, studies or refined sitting rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
