Hadlow Shadow

Caversham Collection FabricHADLOW

Hadlow Shadow presents a quietly elegant botanical in a soft, shadowy grey. The trailing stem outline and clustered floral heads sit lightly across the surface, giving the design a calm, airy rhythm.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and specified for drapes only, Hadlow Shadow has a refined, decorative handle that suits window treatments rather than upholstery. The fabric is 140cm wide with a 65cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat, so the repeating floral stems read as an orderly all-over pattern. In this colourway, the ground is a muted cool grey while the motif is picked out in a paler silvery tone, creating a gentle contrast that feels crisp rather than high-contrast. At 225gsm, the cloth should hang with enough substance for neat curtains while still keeping the botanical detail visible in the fall.

How to use it

Use Hadlow Shadow where you want a restrained floral that won’t overpower a room: it works especially well against pale paintwork, polished timber and simple linens. The cool grey palette gives it a composed, contemporary feel for bedrooms, sitting rooms or formal dining windows.

A calm botanical with a cool grey ground and crisp pale stems, ideal for tailored window dressing.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hadlow Shadow without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
