About this fabric

Woven in 63% linen and 37% polyester, this fabric has the natural look of linen with a little added practicality in the handle. The design repeats with a vertical 10cm pattern and an approximate width of 126cm, which supports the strong column effect seen in the image. A pale beige ground gives the multicoloured zigzag stripes plenty of contrast without making the cloth feel harsh, while the fine white angular motif in the background adds extra movement. It is a smart, decorative textile with enough structure to work across both upholstery and curtains, depending on the make-up of the piece.

How to use it

This colourway works well where you want pattern and warmth without darkening the room, especially against oak, rattan or painted white joinery. Use it for statement cushions, roman blinds or accent upholstery to bring the turquoise and terracotta notes forward.

Use to add lively colour against calmer plains and natural woods.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
