Eldon Mole

Essential Weaves Vol 1 FabricEWV1ELDON

Eldon Mole is a muted brown colourway with a fine, tightly worked woven texture that reads understated and calm. The small-scale surface pattern gives the cloth gentle movement without distracting from the tone.

About this fabric

Part of Ashley Wilde’s Essential Weaves Vol 1 collection, Eldon Mole is a fabric made from 70% polyester and 30% cotton. It is specified for drapes only, with a width of 140cm and a weight of 337 grams per linear metre, giving it a reassuringly substantial handle for window dressing. The swatch shows a warm mole brown ground with a subtle woven sheen and a neat small-scale pattern that catches the light softly rather than shining outright. With 2cm vertical and horizontal repeats and no rub test noted, it is best considered for elegant curtains where texture and tone are more important than statement pattern.

How to use it

Use this mole brown colourway for tailored curtains, wave headers or relaxed interlined drapes where the subtle texture can sit quietly behind richer upholstery. It pairs especially well with ivory, tobacco, antique brass and deep forest accents.

A muted mole tone that adds quiet depth and works beautifully in tailored, understated schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
