Porter & Stone

Treviso Navy

Misc Fabric

Treviso Navy pairs a deep navy motif with a softer neutral ground, giving the pattern a crisp, decorative contrast. The scrolling damask shapes and stylised leaf details read clearly in the large repeat.

About this fabric

This fabric is composed of 85% Polyester and 15% Viscose, with a width of 143cm and a pattern repeat of 40.5cm. The design shows a formal damask layout with curving outlines, fan-like motifs and fine trailing details, all picked out in deep navy, slate blue and muted gold-beige. The navy elements have a cool, inky look that gives the pattern good definition without feeling overly bright, while the lighter ground keeps the overall effect balanced. It has enough visual presence for statement upholstery, yet the woven look and repeat also make it suitable for drapery in a more decorative room scheme.

How to use it

Pair Treviso Navy with pale plaster, chalk white or soft stone walls to let the darker motifs stand out. It also works well with walnut woods and aged brass for a more tailored, traditional finish.

Use for statement upholstery or elegant curtains where the navy pattern can read sharply against the soft ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
