About this fabric

This plain from the Modena collection by J Brown is woven in 100% polyester and specified for contract use, with a Martindale rating of 80,000 for heavy-duty wear. The visible colourway is a cool icy grey, edged with a faint silvery warmth that catches the light and gives the surface a subtle satin sheen. Its fine, softly textured face keeps the look understated while still adding depth at close range. It is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available on request, and can be professionally dry cleaned in situ or washed at 40°C.

How to use it

Use Modena Ice on tailored upholstery, banquettes or meeting seating where a clean grey is needed without the hardness of a stark white. It works especially well with black metal, pale oak and deeper charcoal accents, letting the light sheen bring lift to a restrained scheme.

A cool, versatile neutral with a subtle sheen that lifts contract seating and clean-lined interiors.
