Modena Hessian is a softly textured plain in a pale hessian tone, with a warm creamy-beige base and a gentle woven sheen. The surface reads light and breathable rather than flat, giving the colourway a subtle mineral warmth.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a low-contrast, sandy cream ground with faint beige and stone undertones, lifted by a delicate slub-like texture across the surface. Made from 100% polyester, it is specified for contract use and offers a strong 80,000 Martindale rub test, making it suitable for demanding upholstery schemes. The fabric is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, and other treatments are available upon request. Its dry, hessian-inspired look feels calm and understated, while the slight sheen keeps the neutral from reading dull.

How to use it

Use Modena Hessian on banquettes, dining chairs or soft seating where a warm neutral needs to feel clean and tailored. It pairs well with oak, limestone, putty and muted bronze accents.

A muted neutral that brings an easy, contract-friendly softness to larger pieces.
