About this fabric

Woven in 65% linen and 35% cotton, Marco Indigo has a dry, natural handle that suits a fabric with this restrained, understated surface. The colour reads as a muted navy-indigo, with cooler blue notes that deepen in the folds and catch a softer slate tone in the lighter areas. With an approximate width of 136cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it presents as a clean plain with a subtle woven grain rather than an obvious pattern. The overall effect is smart and calm, with enough texture to keep the shade from looking flat.

How to use it

Use this indigo to ground a pale scheme with chalk white, stone or taupe, or pair it with walnut and brushed metal for a sharper, tailored room. It also works well on upholstered pieces where the blue can read rich and quietly formal.

A refined, versatile indigo that works neatly on upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
