About this fabric

Woven in 65% linen and 35% cotton, Marco has the natural character you can see in its fine vertical grain and slightly irregular texture. This Guimauve colourway sits in a dusty pink range with mauve and warm rose undertones, so it feels softened rather than sugary. The fabric is approx. 136cm wide, with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, making it a straightforward plain for scheme-building. Its medium, dry-looking handle and visible weave suggest a versatile textile suited to both upholstery and drapery, depending on the finish you want in the room.

How to use it

Use this shade where you want colour without heaviness: it works well on a neat occasional chair, tailored curtains, or cushions against pale plaster, oak, or chalky neutrals. The muted rosy tone adds warmth and softness without becoming overly feminine or vivid.

A softened pink with a calm linen-cotton handle, ideal for understated upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
