About this fabric

This colourway reads as a deep, mossy green with a slightly cool cast and fine vertical texture that gives the surface quiet movement. The 65% linen and 35% cotton composition lends the cloth a natural, dry hand and the 136cm approximate width makes it practical for a range of furnishing projects. With a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, the design appears as a clean plain cloth rather than a patterned weave. The overall effect is understated and grounded, with enough depth in the tone to hold its own on larger pieces.

How to use it

Use Foret to bring a tailored, woodland note to banquettes, loose covers or simple curtains. It sits well with oak, aged brass and warm neutrals, where its green depth feels composed rather than bold.

A versatile green with a soft linen-cotton hand for tailored curtains or upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
