Colombe Celadon

Marsan FabricM4123-01

Colombe Celadon shows the Marsan design in a fresh, luminous celadon palette, with scrolling botanical stems and leaves picked out in green, aqua and pale yellow on a light ground. The overall effect is airy rather than dense, so the pattern reads clearly without feeling heavy.

About this fabric

Woven in a 68% Linen, 24% Viscose, 8% Polyester blend, this fabric has the lightly textured look and natural body you would expect from a decorative furnishing cloth. The repeat is substantial at approximately V 78cm and H 128cm, which gives the leaf trails room to open out across the width. In this colourway the palette stays cool and fresh, with soft celadon, sage and turquoise notes brightened by small yellow accents and a pale ground. The result feels crisp and botanical, with enough refinement for statement drapery or light decorative upholstery. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Its pale, cool greens work well in rooms with plenty of natural light, where the celadon and aqua details can stay crisp. Pair it with washed oak, chalky paint colours or simple linens to let the layered foliage pattern remain the focus.

Use to bring a fresh, airy botanical note to elegant upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Colombe Celadon without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
