About this fabric

From Manuel Canovas’ Marsan collection, Liao Jade is a 140cm-wide fabric composed of 45% Polyester, 36% Viscose and 19% Silk. The swatch shows a large-scale floral repeat, with stylised blossoms and scrolling motifs laid over a pale jade green ground. Its colour reads cool and airy rather than deep or jewel-like, while the blush, ivory, saffron and coral details add warmth and movement. The silk content gives the surface a gentle sheen, so the design feels refined without becoming stiff or overly formal. With a repeat of approximately V 86cm and H 70cm, it makes a confident statement across both curtains and upholstery pieces.

How to use it

Use Liao Jade where you want pattern to feel cheerful but controlled: on an occasional chair, banquette or lined curtains. Its minty jade base works especially well with light woods, chalky neutrals and accents picked out from the floral colours.

A fresh jade ground with lively multicolour florals for an elegant yet uplifting interior.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Liao Jade without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
