Lambert Beige

Tristan FabricF4135-07

Lambert Beige presents a fine, tightly worked zigzag check in a soft warm beige ground. The effect is calm and tailored, with just enough surface texture to keep the colourway from reading flat.

About this fabric

This Lambert Beige colourway from the Tristan collection by Colefax and Fowler is woven in a 142cm approximate width and composed of 44% Linen, 26% Viscose, 25% Cotton and 5% Polyester. The small repeat, at roughly V 2cm / H 4cm, gives the cloth a crisp micro-check rhythm that reads more as texture than pattern from a distance. Its beige tone is warm and restrained, with the linen-rich yarns lending a dry, natural character and the viscose adding a gentle softness to the finish. With √CM fire performance noted and no additional performance treatment specified, it is a versatile decorative fabric for schemes that need quiet detail rather than strong contrast.

How to use it

Use Lambert Beige on a tailored chair, banquette or ottoman where the small check will add interest without overwhelming the room. It works especially well with oak, putty, stone and muted olive accents, where its warm beige depth feels composed and easy to live with.

A quietly tailored beige that layers easily with natural woods, chalk whites and deeper neutrals.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lambert Beige without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
