Tyndall Clay

Tyndall Linen FabricF4686-26

Tyndall Clay is a softly textured plain with a warm, clay-beige cast and a calm, matte finish. The close weave gives the swatch a tailored, understated look that reads natural rather than rustic.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a muted beige base lifted by a gentle clay warmth, with the linen weave creating a fine, even surface and subtle tonal flecking across the cloth. Made from 90% Linen and 10% Polyamide, it has the crisp, breathable character associated with linen while the small polyamide content adds a little extra stability. The design has no visible repeat, so the plain effect feels continuous and easy to place across larger runs. At approximately 142cm wide, it is a practical textile for upholstery or drapery where a restrained, neutral finish is wanted.

How to use it

Use Tyndall Clay on relaxed upholstery, Roman blinds or full-height curtains when you want a warm neutral that sits comfortably with oak, stone and painted timber. Its clay-tinted beige works especially well in rooms that need softness without drifting into cream.

A quietly tailored neutral that feels warm and versatile in either seating or soft furnishings.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
