About this fabric

The close-set weave combines a pale beige ground with slightly deeper flecks and fine horizontal and vertical irregularities, giving the cloth quiet surface depth rather than a printed motif. Composed of 80% viscose and 20% linen, it has the tactile, lightly dry appearance associated with a linen-rich flat weave while retaining a soft visual quality. The 138cm width makes it a practical choice for upholstery, and it is graded for both contract and domestic use. Aftercare is professional; the fabric meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm oatmeal colourway to upholster dining chairs, occasional seating or a relaxed sofa where its fine texture can soften stronger wood tones and patterned accents. It also works as a calm neutral alongside terracotta, olive and natural linen shades.

A softly textured oatmeal-beige flat weave suited to relaxed domestic and contract upholstery schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
