About this fabric

The colour sits between cool grey and warm taupe, with small brown flecks giving the otherwise restrained shade a gently mottled depth. Fine horizontal ridges and short chenille fibres create a tactile surface, while changes in the light shift the balance between smoky grey and warmer stone tones. Its dense, substantial-looking construction reads as well suited to upholstery. No performance features or further specification data are supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Shar Pei Smoke on an armchair, sofa or headboard where its quiet grey-taupe tone can soften stronger timber, leather or painted finishes. Its finely flecked surface also works well with plain cushions in warm stone, charcoal or muted brown.

A softly flecked smoke-grey taupe chenille that brings quiet texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
