Curtain fabrics Fabric013

Atelier Moderne Indigo is a deep, cool blue textile with a finely crosshatched surface. Its near-navy tone gives the cloth a calm, architectural presence while the woven texture keeps the colour from appearing flat.

About this fabric

The swatch is dominated by saturated indigo, with subtle lighter blue threads tracing a close horizontal and vertical weave. Fine tonal shifts across the surface create a restrained, linen-like texture rather than a printed motif. As part of Dedar’s Curtain fabrics collection, this colourway is particularly suited to curtains where its deep blue tone can read as composed and quietly dramatic.

How to use it

Use Atelier Moderne Indigo for full-length curtains in a room with chalky neutrals, pale stone or warm timber; the cool blue depth will create a strong but controlled frame around a window.

Use this cool, deep indigo weave to give curtains a quietly tailored look against pale walls or warm timber.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
