About this fabric

The fabric is visibly non-patterned, with fine interlaced texture creating a restrained, mineral-like variation rather than a flat solid. Small darker and lighter fibres give the Piombo colourway a gently peppered depth, while the overall effect remains calm and cool. As part of Dedar’s Curtain fabrics collection, it is catalogued as a fabric for window applications. Its composed surface suits curtains where quiet texture is preferred over a pronounced motif.

How to use it

Use No Excuses Piombo for full-length curtains in a contemporary room layered with chalky walls, pale timber and charcoal upholstery. Its cool grey depth also works well beside brushed steel or muted blue-grey accents.

Use this cool, finely textured grey at windows with pale stone, charcoal or brushed-metal accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
