About this fabric

The swatch is predominantly warm taupe-beige, with delicate gold-toned variation that becomes more apparent across the horizontal ribbed texture. Its surface is flat and finely woven rather than plush, while the closely lined construction gives the colour gentle depth. The understated metallic effect keeps the fabric smart and refined without creating a high-shine appearance. This fabric is catalogued in Dedar’s Fire-retardant collection; no further composition, width, rub-test or performance specification was supplied.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe colourway to bring quiet warmth to upholstered seating, cushions or curtains, especially alongside ivory, stone and aged brass. Its fine linear texture can also add definition to a room built around soft, tonal neutrals.

The finely ribbed taupe ground has a restrained golden glint that adds depth without becoming glossy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
