Simla Carpet

Simla in Gunmetal has a deep charcoal appearance with a cool, almost graphite cast. Its close, softly pebbled surface gives the colour subtle movement rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The image shows a dark gunmetal ground with fine tonal variation across the surface, creating a restrained mottled effect. Short, closely packed fibres produce a tactile, low-level texture that catches the light in tiny shifts from charcoal to softer grey. This colourway is catalogued as Carpet; no performance features or further specification data have been supplied for the fabric. The near-black depth gives Simla Gunmetal a composed, architectural character.

How to use it

Use Gunmetal to bring depth to tailored seating, headboards or other upholstered pieces, particularly alongside pale stone, timber or brushed metal. Its cool charcoal tone also works well as a grounding shade in a monochrome room.

Its deep, cool charcoal tone and softly mottled texture suit tailored upholstery and darker, contemporary interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
