About this fabric

This fabric is catalogued as a fabric and is shown here in a restrained grey-green that sits between soft olive and charcoal grey. Fine, evenly spaced cords run vertically across the surface, creating a narrow-ribbed texture and subtle tonal variation as the light moves over it. The understated structure gives the colourway a composed, softly tailored appearance rather than a casual or highly decorative one.

How to use it

Use River on a clean-lined sofa, dining chair or headboard where its cool, earthy grey-green tone can anchor warmer timber, stone and muted neutral furnishings. Pair it with deeper olive or charcoal accents to draw out the fabric’s shaded vertical texture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
