Motion Dragonfly

Motion Dragonfly has a cool, muted blue-teal ground with a softly mottled surface and fine vertical striations. The subtle tonal variation gives this plain fabric quiet depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The close-up shows a textile with delicate vertical lines and a lightly brushed, irregular texture across the blue-teal face. Its cool dragonfly shade sits between softened blue and green, with darker and lighter threads creating a gently weathered appearance as the light moves across it. No composition, width, rub-test or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Motion Dragonfly to bring a calm, cool note to a reading chair, sofa or relaxed blind, pairing it with pale timber, chalky neutrals and soft grey-blue accents. Its restrained texture also works well where a room needs colour without a strong printed motif.

Its cool blue-teal tone and fine vertical texture suit tailored upholstery as well as understated curtains.

Pairs well with

Motion Dragonfly is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
