Niva Fabric

Niva Yorkstone is a softly illuminated ivory fabric with a fine woven surface and barely-there geometric movement. Its warm cream ground is lifted by delicate oatmeal flecks visible across the close-up texture.

About this fabric

The Yorkstone colourway reads as a light, warm neutral rather than a stark white, with subtle tonal variation in the yarns giving the surface gentle depth. A restrained trellis-like effect is woven into the small-scale texture, remaining quiet and decorative rather than graphic. Made from 50% viscose, 25% linen, 15% cotton and 10% polyester, the 140cm-wide fabric is specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. It is supplied with a dry-clean after-care recommendation.

How to use it

Pair this pale ivory-and-oatmeal colourway with natural timber, warm stone and softly tailored upholstery for a calm, considered interior. Its faint lattice texture also works well on a headboard or occasional chair where the weave can be seen close up.

Use this softly textured ivory weave on tailored seating where its understated trellis effect can add quiet detail.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
