About this fabric

The colour reads as a muted gunmetal grey, with lighter and darker threads giving the surface a softly weathered depth. Fine vertical lines are interrupted by subtle horizontal ripples, producing an understated slubbed texture. Its visibly lightweight, sheer construction makes it best suited to drapery, where daylight can draw out the variation in the weave. The restrained pattern-free appearance gives this colourway a quiet, contemporary feel.

How to use it

Hang Shadow Gunmetal as full-length curtains in a cool-toned room, pairing it with pale stone, charcoal or brushed metal accents. Its depth works particularly well when daylight is allowed to pass through the fine, irregular weave.

Use this cool gunmetal grey sheer at the window, where its fine striations can soften daylight without introducing a strong pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
