Shadow Grey Mist

Timeless Linen Sheers Fabric

Shadow Grey Mist is a pale, cool grey sheer whose fine crosswise texture is visible across the softly translucent-looking ground. The restrained shade has a quiet, veil-like quality, with delicate darker threads lending depth without forming a motif.

About this fabric

Shadow Grey Mist is a cool, pale grey with a quiet misted cast rather than a strong blue or beige undertone. The close-up shows a fine, airy ground crossed by delicate horizontal and vertical slubs, giving the surface a softly irregular linen-like grain. Its light value keeps the weave gentle and low-contrast, while faint darker threads add enough depth to prevent it reading flat. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use its cool mist-grey tone at windows where a soft, diffused layer is wanted, pairing it with chalky whites, pale timber or deeper graphite accents. The subtle woven texture also suits relaxed layered curtains without introducing a visible pattern.

A cool, lightly textured grey for calm, filtered drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
