About this fabric

Closely repeated horizontal loops give this textile a substantial, corded appearance, while the irregularly mixed grey and taupe threads keep the gunmetal tone from looking flat. The colour reads as a softened, warm-leaning grey, with deeper charcoal lines visible where the braid turns and overlaps. Its compact scale and pronounced texture make it particularly suited to upholstery detailing and tailored trim. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use the muted gunmetal grey to outline a tailored sofa, headboard or upholstered panel, where its raised weave can add definition without introducing a strong pattern. It would sit comfortably with charcoal, stone, taupe and brushed-metal accents.

Its dense, corded surface adds quiet definition to upholstered edges, panels or other tailored details.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
