Timeless Plains Fabric

Town Ochre is a warm ochre-gold plain weave with a softly earthy character. Its close, even surface shows restrained tonal variation rather than a visible pattern.

About this fabric

The swatch has a rich ochre tone that sits between mustard yellow and softened brown, giving the colour noticeable depth without appearing bright or saturated. A fine woven texture runs across the surface, with delicate vertical and horizontal variation visible in the close-up. The finish reads predominantly matte, while small changes in the weave catch the light and prevent the plain colour from looking flat. This is a quietly distinctive colourway whose warmth gives the Timeless Plains design a grounded, natural mood.

How to use it

Use Town Ochre to add a sun-warmed note to a neutral room, particularly alongside chalky creams, aged timber and deeper brown accents. Its understated plain weave can cover a larger upholstered piece or bring a softly textured ochre layer to curtains.

A warm ochre plain weave that brings earthy colour and understated texture to upholstery or window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
