About this fabric

This fabric has a dense, small-scale nubby weave with an irregular grain visible across the sand-toned surface. Its colour sits between warm beige and light taupe, with slightly darker flecks adding depth rather than a distinct pattern. The substantial-looking texture makes it particularly well suited to upholstery, where its tactile surface can complement clean, tailored forms. Broad highlights and shadows appear where the swatch folds, showing how the neutral tone changes subtly with the light.

How to use it

Use M678 Sand on an armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard when you want a warm, understated base rather than a stark cream. Pair it with natural timber, chalky walls and deeper taupe accents to draw out its softly mottled texture.

Use this warm sand tone to soften tailored seating and bring subtle texture to a neutral room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
