Kota Heron

Acara Fabric

Kota Heron is a cool, balanced grey with a finely mottled surface that gives the cloth subtle depth rather than a flat block of colour. The close weave reads softly textured up close, with tiny light and dark flecks across the face.

About this fabric

This Acara colourway combines pale grey and charcoal-like flecks in a dense, even woven texture. Its neutral-cool tone feels calm and architectural, while the irregular surface prevents the shade from appearing stark or overly smooth. The fabric is catalogued as a textile, and no additional composition, width, rub-test or performance specifications were supplied. The restrained texture makes the colour particularly effective where a quiet grey finish is wanted without a completely plain appearance.

How to use it

Use Kota Heron to bring a cool, softly textured grey to seating, cushions or curtains, then warm it with oak, brushed brass and off-white upholstery details. Charcoal, ink blue and muted stone tones will reinforce its gently layered depth.

Pair this cool, softly flecked grey with pale timber, chalky neutrals or darker charcoal accents.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
