Acara Fabric

Kota Navy is a deep, cool blue woven with a softly mottled surface. Fine pale flecks and short irregular marks break up the dark ground without forming a defined motif.

About this fabric

The close, dense weave gives this textile a substantial upholstered appearance, while the tiny pale threads create a lightly weathered, tactile finish. Its navy tone reads deep and cool in the swatch, with blue-grey variation where the textured yarns catch the light. The surface remains visually restrained, so the colour provides depth without looking flat or overly formal. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Kota Navy on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its deep blue tone can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, chalky neutrals or brushed metal to bring out the contrast in its pale woven flecks.

The deep navy ground and fine pale flecks bring subtle movement to upholstered seating while retaining a composed, tailored feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
