Essi Indigo

Arturo Fabric

Essi Indigo has a deep, cool indigo ground with a densely worked surface of pale blue, charcoal and muted grey threads. Its close-up texture reads as richly tactile rather than flat, with the colour shifting subtly across the weave.

About this fabric

The fabric shows a compact, irregular grid of interwoven threads, creating a small-scale pattern across the surface. Deep navy-indigo fibres are broken by pale blue and grey flecks, while darker charcoal marks add depth and definition. The dense woven appearance gives this colourway a structured, substantial character for upholstery. In brighter areas, the lighter threads catch the eye without making the overall shade feel bright or saturated.

How to use it

Use Essi Indigo on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its cool blue depth can anchor softer grey, chalk or natural wood tones. Pair it with brushed metal and pale textiles to highlight the contrast between its dark ground and lighter woven flecks.

A dense, tactile indigo weave that brings cool depth and subtle pattern to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
