Elska Chia

Aubin Fabric

Elska Chia combines a warm ivory-beige ground with closely spaced taupe-brown geometric motifs. Its lightly textured surface gives the pattern a tactile, quietly graphic character.

About this fabric

The design is made up of small stepped and diamond-like forms arranged in a regular all-over repeat. Against the soft ivory ground, the taupe-brown pattern reads muted and earthy rather than high contrast, with the woven texture adding gentle tonal variation. The compact scale creates an even visual rhythm across the swatch without overpowering the surrounding scheme. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use the warm chia colouring to bring subtle pattern to a chair, bench or pair of curtains, especially alongside pale timber, oatmeal upholstery and other natural neutrals.

Pair its warm ivory ground and taupe-brown pattern with timber, linen and softened neutrals.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Elska Chia without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
