Cressida Chinchilla
Kelso Fabric
Cressida Chinchilla combines a cool dove-grey ground with large ivory flower heads, creating a softly contrasted floral with a drawn, painterly character. The fine crosshatched surface gives the background a subtle textile depth.

About this fabric
This Romo Kelso fabric is printed with generous ivory blooms, slender stems and loosely sketched leaves across the grey ground. The flowers vary in scale and position, while darker charcoal-grey linework adds definition around the petals and foliage. Its muted, cool colouring feels composed rather than bright, with the ivory blooms standing out clearly against the chinchilla-grey background. As a fabric, it offers a smart floral option for both upholstery and drapery where a large-scale pattern is wanted without strong saturation.
How to use it
Use Cressida Chinchilla on a reading chair, roman blind or full-length curtains in a room layered with ivory, stone and charcoal. Its cool grey base works especially well with pale oak, painted furniture and brushed metal details.
Pair the cool dove-grey ground and ivory blooms with pale timber, chalky neutrals or charcoal accents for a quietly tailored room.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cressida Chinchilla without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
