Milani Iron

Milani Fabric

Milani Iron is a softly dimensional textile in a deep iron grey with a slight brown warmth. Its close weave creates a restrained vertical movement across the surface rather than a pronounced pattern.

About this fabric

The fabric’s fine, tightly packed weave is clearly visible in the swatch, with tiny crosswise intersections giving the surface a dry, tactile character. Narrow tonal lines run vertically through the iron-grey ground, adding depth without turning the design into a conventional stripe. The shade sits between charcoal grey and muted taupe, so it reads softer and warmer than a stark graphite. No additional composition, width or performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Milani Iron on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm grey-brown tone can anchor lighter stone, putty and natural wood finishes. Its subtle vertical texture also suits restrained, contemporary upholstery schemes that need depth without a strong motif.

Use this closely woven iron-grey textile to bring quiet structure to upholstered seating and occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
