About this fabric

This Okero colourway is a dense-looking woven textile in a restrained blue-grey, sitting between softened denim and cool slate. Close up, the surface shows small irregular flecks and fine horizontal and vertical yarn movement rather than a printed motif. The lighter threads catch across the weave, keeping the shade from appearing flat while preserving its calm, muted character. No performance features are noted for this colourway, so its appeal is centred on the visible texture and nuanced blue tone.

How to use it

Use Kelby Buxton Blue on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its cool, muted colour can temper warm timber and complement chalky whites, stone and brushed metal. Its fine mottling also works well alongside plain grey-blue or natural linen cushions.

Its cool blue-grey weave brings quiet colour and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
