About this fabric

The colour sits between charcoal and navy, giving the cloth a subdued blue cast rather than a flat black appearance. A close, small-scale weave creates a gently grainy surface, while the folds show that the fabric falls with a soft, fluid movement. The dark tone absorbs much of the light but reveals subtle shifts across raised and recessed areas. This is catalogued as a fabric; no composition, width, rub test or performance features were supplied.

How to use it

Pair this cool blue-grey with pale stone, chalky whites or brushed metal for a restrained scheme, using it as full-length drapery to emphasise the fabric’s soft folds.

Use this deep blue-grey cloth for full-length curtains where its fluid drape and fine woven texture can read in changing light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
