Bridgeport Natural

Bridgeport Fabric

Bridgeport Natural has a softly warm, natural-beige ground with a fine woven chevron running in orderly vertical lines. Its close texture gives the pale colour subtle depth rather than a flat appearance.

About this fabric

The surface is built from narrow, repeated herringbone marks, creating a restrained geometric rhythm across the cloth. Cream and beige threads blend together so the colour reads light and softly mottled, with the raised weave catching the light along each angled line. The pattern remains fine and even at close range, giving this colourway a neat, quietly tailored character without strong contrast.

How to use it

Use Bridgeport Natural where a room needs warmth without a noticeably yellow or dark fabric: it would suit a softly upholstered armchair, neat Roman blind or full-length curtain alongside timber, ivory and muted stone tones.

Use the warm natural beige ground and fine chevron weave to add understated texture to tailored upholstery, curtains or cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bridgeport Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
