About this fabric

The surface has a small, even woven grain that gives this otherwise plain colourway a subtly pebbled appearance. Its cool grey tone is light and misted rather than silver or blue, creating a calm, understated presence. Draped folds show the fabric’s supple movement, while deeper creases bring out a slightly darker graphite-grey shadow. The fine texture keeps Edinburgh Cloud from reading as a completely flat solid, adding quiet depth across the surface.

How to use it

Use Edinburgh Cloud on a relaxed sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtains where its cool cloudy grey can soften warmer timber and sit comfortably beside pale stone tones.

Use the cool cloudy grey as a quiet foundation with natural timber, stone and softly contrasting textures.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
