Gherkin Silver

Gherkin Fabric

Gherkin Silver is a pale, cool silver-grey textile scattered with tiny dark flecks. Its close, softly mottled surface gives the colourway gentle depth without a bold printed motif.

About this fabric

The light silver ground is overlaid with numerous small charcoal-grey and taupe flecks, creating a fine, irregular texture across the cloth. The pattern remains delicate at this scale, while the tonal variation stops the pale colour from appearing flat. The close weave visible in the swatch gives Gherkin Silver a neat, softly tactile appearance suited to drapery.

How to use it

Use Gherkin Silver for full-length curtains or blinds in rooms built around cool whites, pale grey and weathered timber. Its restrained flecking can also soften a plain silver-grey scheme without introducing a strong contrast.

Use this cool silver-grey ground to bring a quiet, finely textured finish to curtains and blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
