About this fabric

The dark grey colourway reads cool and quietly dramatic, while lighter blue and warm taupe flecks prevent the surface from appearing flat. Closely packed yarns create a tactile, nubby texture with a softly broken checked or argyle-like effect. Draped folds in the swatch reveal alternating areas of shadow and lifted texture, giving the cloth visual depth. The substantial woven appearance makes it a natural choice for upholstery where a quietly patterned, tailored finish is wanted.

How to use it

Pair this charcoal-and-blue colourway with smoked timber, blackened metal and warm neutral walls for a composed, modern room. Its flecked surface can also soften plain grey or navy upholstery without introducing a strong contrast.

Use this charcoal, softly variegated weave to bring tailored texture to sofas, dining chairs or occasional seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
