Tweed Pepper

Tweed Fabric

Tweed Pepper is a deep charcoal-grey woven fabric with a softly mottled, peppered surface. Its warm brown-grey flecks give the dark colourway more depth than a flat grey.

About this fabric

The close, even weave is visibly textured, with fine lighter and warmer flecks dispersed through the charcoal ground. Broad folds in the swatch show a substantial cloth that holds gentle ridges while remaining pliable enough to drape. The overall tone is muted and smoky, shifting subtly between deep grey and brown-grey where the light catches the surface. With no pattern beyond its peppered weave, this colourway has a restrained, tailored appearance.

How to use it

Use Tweed Pepper on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its dark charcoal tone can anchor a room without reading as stark black. Pair it with warm timber, aged leather and soft cream accents to draw out the weave’s brown-grey flecks.

A dense, subtly flecked charcoal weave that brings quiet depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
